Ubud is famous for its crispy duck and roasted pig, but finding world-class seafood in the middle of the jungle is a challenge. For the sophisticated traveller, the craving for the briny, cold snap of a raw oyster is hard to satisfy.
At Pinstripe Bar, we have solved this geography problem. We fly in the ocean’s finest treasures to create the only dedicated luxury Fresh oyster Ubud experience.
Join us every Saturday for our signature “Bubbles & Oysters” event, a celebration of life’s finer things, set against the backdrop of our 1930s art-deco sanctuary.

The Stars of the Show: Fine de Claire Oysters Bali
Not all oysters are created equal. While many venues serve standard local varieties, we pride ourselves on offering the prestigious Fine de Claire oysters in Bali.
Sourced from the clay ponds of the Marennes-Oléron basin in France, these oysters are renowned for their delicate flesh and balanced, nutty flavour profile. They are less fleshy than deep-sea oysters and carry a unique sweetness that pairs perfectly with dry sparkling wines.
In addition to the French classics, our menu often features Japanese Morutso Bay oysters, known for their creamy texture and intense umami finish. Whether you are an oyster novice or a seasoned expert, our selection offers a masterclass in merroir (the terroir of the sea).
The Perfect Pour: Champagne Taittinger Bali
An oyster without bubbles is like a song without a melody. To complement the shellfish’s salinity, we have curated a selection of sparkling wines, headlined by the elegant Champagne Taittinger.
The sharp acidity and fine bubbles of a Taittinger Brut Reserve cut through the oyster’s creaminess, refreshing your palate for the next bite.
Looking for something lighter? It’s always Prosecco time in Ubud at Pinstripe Bar. We offer excellent Italian sparkling wines, such as Albaluna Prosecco, providing a crisp, fruity alternative that captures that relaxed Saturday champagne-brunch vibe perfectly.
Oyster Hour: The Ultimate Saturday Ritual
Our “Bubbles & Oysters” event isn’t just a meal; it’s a social ritual. Every Saturday from 5 PM, Pinstripe transforms into the chicest Oyster hour in Ubud.
Picture this: The golden hour light filters through the jungle canopy. You are seated in a plush leather armchair, a glass of cold champagne in one hand and a freshly shucked oyster in the other. It is the perfect bridge between a day of exploring and a night of fine dining.
